Alright Im 5'10'' 210 I want to get down to about 180-185. Im going to ride the stationary bike 35 minutes a day and weight train. Any suggestions on weight training exercise. I am a golfer so I need a strong core. Thanks

<p>There are many books and videos that would give you a large variety of stabilization exercises. I like www.collagevideo.com. Ok so maybe this site is geared towards women, but do not let that deter you from checking out the core training selection. I recommend Cathe Friedrich. You can do the videos in the privacy of your own home, replay them to learn the movements and practice the techniques. Some equipment maybe needed (i.e. bands, stability ball), but the video reviews will tell you what is recommended. </p>
<p>Core training involves more than planks, and crunches. You need variety work the muscles from different directions to get over all strength. You also have to work the stabilizers - tiny muscles that support that larger muscles. I recommend kettlebell training - look this up on the web or contact your local gym or personal trainer. Kettlebells can also work your core and major muscle groups like never before - very challenging and the results are great - good luck.</p>
