They will miss possibly vital information, or knowledge. This would mean that their competitors would gain an advantage over them.

Product development plans will be flawed if they are not using and incorporating the latest technology, or ideas into their planning. This would result in a drop in sales.

Information is key, without the correct up to date information and knowledge their cash flow,sales, and profit forecasts will be way off, leading possibly to the demise of the Company.
